NYC-based alt-pop artist D.K. Lyons continues his bold new era with the release of the official music video for “loveseeking,” the first single from his upcoming EP Darling Kiss Louder. Drawing visual inspiration from Chappell Roan’s “Red Wine Supernova (Magician’s Cut),” the video channels a whimsical, empowering energy aligned with Lyons’ admiration for strong, authentic artists.

“loveseeking” marks the beginning of a post-breakup journey filled with hope, magic, and a quest for deeper meaning in love and life. It also introduces the EP’s layered visual themes, inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy, the seven deadly sins, and the evolution from the Dark Ages to the digital age. In the video, Lyons explores the sin of greed, as his character and a magician lover rebel against those who suppress dreams and wonder.

Lyons will celebrate the project and Gemini season with his second annual Gemini Ball on June 18 at The Bowery Electric, featuring performances by Rami 411, Cherry Blue, Dirt, and Lyons himself.

With heart-on-sleeve vulnerability and a message rooted in connection, D.K. Lyons continues to fuse pop-rock flair with thoughtful storytelling. Check out the music video for “loveseeking” below!
