Some of the most dynamic artists in alternative music and hip-hop—Kami Kehoe, Ekoh, and Colorblind—have come together for the first time on “Safehouse,” a high-energy, genre-blurring anthem about finding refuge in the middle of chaos. This track also marks Kami Kehoe’s official debut with Cupid Theory management, joining her “Safehouse” collaborator, Colorblind.

After the devastating California wildfires turned their lives upside down, Kami, Ekoh, and Colorblind found themselves in Las Vegas, processing the disaster and looking for a way to channel all that fear and uncertainty. That’s when “Safehouse” came to life—a hard-hitting track filled with raw emotion, resilience, and the energy of three artists who turned a moment of crisis into something powerful.

And in the spirit of giving back, they’re donating all royalties from “Safehouse” to help those affected by the fires.

Each artist has their own story about how this song came to be:

When the fires happened in LA I evacuated to Vegas and ended up meeting some incredible people. Ekoh, Travis from colorblind, Curt Martin, and now my manager Kyle. We were all in shock from what was happening, I remember we were all just sitting there talking about how unreal everything felt, and constantly checking to see if our homes and friends were safe. But during such a tragic time we were able to make something so beautiful from it. All of us together ended up making such a powerful song that will hopefully help anyone who needs it. And even though the fires have stopped, there are still tons of people who are suffering, so we want to help as much as we can and give all of the royalties to the victims of the LA wildfires.

When the LA wildfires hit in January, the three of us ended up in Vegas, just trying to process everything and figure out our next move. It was a pretty scary situation, but making music together gave us a way to escape for a minute and put all that fear and uncertainty into something real. That song became more than just a track—it captured what we were feeling in that moment, and hopefully, it can do the same for anyone else who ever finds themselves in a situation like that.

 Ekoh

Just by the energy in the room when we started this song I could tell it was going to be special. Having to evacuate LA was an experience that none of us were expecting and getting to cope with that anxiety by making music with my friends is something that I’m so grateful for. We hope you feel this song as much as we did. Our hearts go out to everyone who was affected by the LA fires.

With “Safehouse” making waves, 2025 is shaping up to be a massive year for Kami, Ekoh, and Colorblind. Between them, they’ve already racked up millions of streams, and this collaboration proves that when they come together, something truly unique happens. Don’t miss Colorblind on tour with Capstan right now, and catch Kami Kehoe and Ekoh at Warped Tour this July. Plus, Kami and Colorblind will be hitting the stage at Louder Than Life Fest this September, alongside Slayer, Avenged Sevenfold, and Deftones.

WHO’S WHO: MEET THE ARTISTS BEHIND “SAFEHOUSE”

KAMI KEHOE

At just 21, Kami Kehoe has been making music for over 15 years, fearlessly blending rock, alternative, and electronic sounds into something entirely her own. Based in LA, she’s built a loyal fanbase, amassing 25 million streams and 24 million TikTok views.

Her breakout single, “SLEEP WHEN I’M DEAD,” from her 2024 album REVIVED (Coup D’état/10K Projects), blew up overnight, gaining her 100,000 new TikTok followers a day and cementing her reputation as a force in the underground scene.

With “Safehouse,” Kami continues to evolve, mixing shoegaze vibes, Deftones-style guitars, and pulsing electronic beats. She’s also on a mission—her mantra, Kure The World, is proudly displayed on her bass drum and fuels everything she does. “If I can change one person’s life through my music, I’ve done my job. I make music for me; I release it for others.”

EKOH

If there’s one artist who refuses to be put in a box, it’s Ekoh. Hailing from Las Vegas, he seamlessly blends hip-hop, rock, and alternative music, carving out a lane entirely his own. His breakout single, “Hole in Your Head,” put him on the national radar, earning SiriusXM rotation and a spot on the Top 40 rock charts with “Good Things.”

Ekoh’s live shows are legendary, with fans so dedicated they once threw their Vans sneakers on stage for him to sign—leading to an official Vans partnership where he designed his own shoes.

In 2024, he dropped Pressure, a rock/rap hybrid album that landed in the Top 10 Rock Charts and was met with massive praise. He followed it up with a 27-city headlining tour across the U.S. and Canada, proving that his genre-defying sound is here to stay.

COLORBLIND

Colorblind has been making waves since 2017, but 2024 was the year they really hit their stride. Led by brothers Travis & Tyler Moseley, alongside Justin Page and Nicholas Asper, their sound blends rock, pop, and hip-hop into something fresh and undeniably catchy.

They kicked off their touring career in early 2024, sharing stages with Attack Attack!, Caskets, Honey Revenge, and Until I Wake. Now signed to Tooth & Nail Records and Solid State Records, they’re gearing up to release their highly anticipated debut album in late 2025.
