Concert Recap

Attending Peso Pluma’s Éxodo tour was an unforgettable experience. From the moment he rose from beneath the stage on a golden throne, surrounded by masked dancers, I knew this wasn’t going to be just another concert. The energy in the room was electric as the crowd roared to life with the opening notes of “La Durango” and “AMG” His dramatic entrance, paired with his gritty lyrics and bold stage presence, set the tone for an emotional and high-energy night.

What struck me most was Peso Pluma’s resilience. Running and jumping around the stage, he gave his all. His determination was inspiring as he moved around the stage, engaging with the audience and maintaining the same charisma that has made him a global phenomenon. His set list was perfectly curated, transitioning seamlessly from club-ready bangers like “Quema” to heartfelt mariachi ballads such as “Rosa Pastel,” which gave me chills. The addition of live mariachi instruments created a beautiful homage to his roots, made even more powerful as audience members donned the Mexican flag.

Although there was no opener, the artist was joined on stage later in the show by North Carolina rapper DaBaby. Dababy performed a song or two from his newest project, while mixing in some crowd favorites such as “Suge” and “Rockstar”.

The crowd was deeply connected to every moment, singing along passionately and matching his energy. Peso Pluma’s pride in his heritage and his ability to mix traditional Mexican music with modern sounds made the experience truly special. By the time he closed the show, the entire venue felt like a massive celebration of culture and resilience. If you have the chance to see Peso Pluma live, take it. This tour is an emotional and energetic rollercoaster you don’t want to miss.
