Greensboro’s Piedmont Hall played host to Black Veil Brides’ highly anticipated 2026 tour, alongside a powerhouse supporting lineup featuring As December Falls, TX2, and From Ashes to New. It was easily one of the best live concerts that I’d attended recently, and even though I’d seen Black Veil Brides perform before as an opener, seeing them perform as headliners doing a full set was worth the wait.
As soon as the clock hit 7 pm, the floor at Piedmont Hall darkened and the opening acts did not waste a single second of the crowd’s attention. As December Falls and TX2 delivered performances that primed the room for the headliners, they engaged the crowd and kept the energy going from start to finish. TX2 even went into the crowd to perform early in his set.
From Ashes to New, leading into the headliners, was indeed one of my favorites. The rock and rap-metal blend completely captivated the Greensboro crowd thanks to the dynamic chemistry of their dual vocalists. The back-and-forth vocal trade-offs provided an excellent contrast that elevated their live sound, generating massive crowd interaction and they set the bar high for Black Veil Brides to follow them.

By the time the lights dimmed for Black Veil Brides, the room was at full energy and capacity. Whether you are a die-hard member of the BVB Army who knows every lyric or a casual listener experiencing them live for the first time (or like me, for the second time), it was clear from the first note that this band sounds absolutely spectacular live.
The dual-guitar attack from Jake Pitts and Jinxx delivered razor-sharp, melodic riffs that filled the music hall. Frontman Andy Biersack commanded the stage effortlessly, with his vocals sounding incredibly strong and clear.

The defining moment of the night for me happened almost immediately. During BVB’s very first song, Biersack spotted a fan in distress in the crowd. Showing the class and veteran awareness of a true professional, he completely stopped the show mid-track and ensured the music paused until proper medical aid was given to the concertgoer. It was a commendable moment that highlighted the mutual respect between Black Veil Brides and their audience, and it served as a reminder that despite the chaotic energy of a rock show, safety and community comes first.
Once the show resumed, the energy in the room was back to full capacity. The floor erupted into several massive mosh pits that came and went throughout the entirety of the night. A steady stream of crowdsurfers rode the wave of the audience toward the barricade, creating a visual spectacle that matched the intensity coming from the stage.

What made the night special for me was how easy it was to tap into the experience. BVB’s catalog translates perfectly to a live setting. I’m still a relatively new fan, but I can enjoy are grand the songs are in person. The hooks are massive and the songs are so fundamentally well-crafted that you can easily vibe along, even if you are unfamiliar with the tracks.
Black Veil Brides and their stellar supporting lineup delivered a masterclass in modern rock touring at Piedmont Hall. From the brilliance of the openers to the commanding leadership of Andy Biersack and the rest of BVB, the night was an unforgettable experience. Greensboro brought the energy needed to take over the venue, and the performers fed off that energy to devlier an amazing night. Tune in soon to see the rest of the galleries from As December Falls, TX2, and From Ashes to New.
