The Inside Out, the Connecticut-based alt/indie rock band, just released the video for their latest single ‘Mr. Arrogant”.
The video was filmed by Kris Khunachak (The Wonder Years) and directed by Michael Dugatto between the Connecticut cities of New Haven and Shelton. They filmed at Indian Well State Park, where several outdoor scenes were recorded, and The Inside Out’s record label Black Barrel Records, where musical performance shots were captured.
During the video, several obstacles come up that try to prevent the band from making it to a show on time, and ending with a performance for the crowd once they arrive to the venue.
‘Mr. Arrogant’ is a song about racing through life and time, sometimes too recklessly just to go through the next steps and motions of it all. We wanted to reflect on this feeling with our music video in our own way–running late to a show, doing whatever we can to get there on time, no matter what chaos we left in our wake. Mikey Dugatto and Kris Khunachak perfected our vision with expertise.

“Mr. Arrogant” is the first single off The Inside Out’s forthcoming album Road Trip, due to release later this year. Stereofade interviewed The Inside Out last year about “Mr. Arrogant” and their plans for the album. You can find that interview transcript and audio here.
Comprising James Howard, Zach Stout, John Landino and Andi Wright, The Inside Out has been a featured act at Launch Music Conference three years in a row, and last fall the group thrilled audiences up and down the East Coast while on tour with its exhilarating yet thought-provoking tracks that speak to the wide array of complex emotions and thoughts that make us human. Look out for more new music from this skilled quartet in the coming months.
