Avenged Sevenfold’s “Life Is But a Dream…” tour stop in Raleigh, NC, on March 29, 2024, delivered a powerful heavy metal experience to fans at PNC Arena. The concert featured a blend of new tracks from their latest album, “Life Is But a Dream…,” and beloved classics from their extensive discography. The performance was part of a North American tour that concluded on Sunday evening in Newark, New Jersey.
Sullivan King

Sullivan King started the night out with high octane remixes and electronics, mixed with heavy metal. A great mixing of genres to show what was to come later in the night, Sullivan King brought the energy to the stadium and brought it fast.
Poppy
Being on Sumerian Records since 2020, Poppy has continued to surprise fans from starting out as a dream pop youtuber and now being one of metals most interesting acts. She brought her own into the night with neck breaking speeds of genre mixing and intensity. Definitely someone to watch for.
Avenged Sevenfold: Life Is But A Dream…

Avenged Sevenfold set out to build, not just an unforgettable night, but one choreographed with lights, pyro and insanely detailed visuals. Life Is But A Dream is on the third leg of its tour cycle, but that hasn’t stopped them from putting in their all. Taking you through the album, we were greeted with trippy highs and deep lows, showing how well Avenged has done in building atmosphere and tension in this last album. The night consisted of new material, but as well as old material, pulling from albums City Of Evil, Waking The Fallen and Nightmare, taking everyone through each era and giving respect to the passing years.

This was a dream of mine to work with Avenged Sevenfold in some kind of capacity and I think it ties well with this shows theme. If you get the chance to experience an Avenged Sevenfold, take it.

Avenged Sevenfold is set to continue their tour overseas this summer, with shows scheduled in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and other European countries.
