Last night, I covered WWE Raw in Raleigh knowing we were getting closer to WrestleMania 40, and this episode definitely raised the stakes.

The night ended with an absolute war between Becky Lynch and Nia Jax in a Last Woman Standing match. These two beat the hell out of each other—steel chairs, tables, everything. I actually winced when Nia hit a Samoan Drop on Becky onto the steel. But Becky wouldn’t stay down. She pulled off a Manhandle Slam through a table, and that finally kept Nia down for the ten-count. After the match, Rhea Ripley showed up to stare her down, and the tension between those two is off the charts going into Mania.

Cody Rhodes came out earlier in the night and addressed The Rock’s latest shots. He said he was done playing games and made it clear: he wants Roman Reigns one-on-one at WrestleMania.

We also got the contract signing between Gunther and Sami Zayn. Gunther was his usual cold, dominant self, but Sami didn’t back down. You could feel the passion in Sami’s words—he’s coming for that Intercontinental Title with everything he’s got.

There were a bunch of big tag team matches, too. #DIY beat The Creed Brothers, The Awesome Truth (yep, Miz and R-Truth are back!) beat Indus Sher, and The New Day took down Alpha Academy. All three winning teams are now heading to WrestleMania for that Six-Pack Ladder Match for the Undisputed Tag Titles.

Another standout moment for me was the confrontation between Jey and Jimmy Uso. Jey called out his brother, and the emotion in their exchange was real. I could feel how personal it was—it’s clear these two are heading for something big at Mania.

Other highlights: Ricochet got a solid win over Dominik Mysterio, and Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell picked up a tag win over Katana Chance & Kayden Carter.

All in all, this Raw delivered. It was violent, emotional, and totally locked me in for the final stretch to WrestleMania.
